Northlands and Edmonton Kubota are thrilled to present top equine clinicians from across North America at this year’s Farmfair from November 5-13 at the Edmonton EXPO Centre. Topics include hoof care, chiropractic techniques, horsemanship, reining and bio security measures.
With an outbreak of the equine herpes virus in Alberta, it is fitting Dr. Randy Killeen will be at Farmfair discussing equine bio-security principles. Dr. Killeen will inform horse owners and caregivers about bio-security practices, and encourage consultation and discussion with veterinarians on disease control and prevention. Register today for “The Plan, Prevent and Protect Workshop” taking place on November 5 and 6
Through commitments to understanding the horse, time devotion and self-examination, Chris Cox has mastered horsemanship. Having worked on two continents, Cox holds multiple champion titles, and is a competitor and breeder in Mineral Wells, Texas. Northlands is pleased Cox will be facilitating clinics at Farmfair on November 5 and 6. Cox’s clinics are presented by Cargill Animal Nutrition.
In addition to these world-class experts, Northlands is proud to introduce Alberta legends Dee Butterfield and Shawna Sapergia. Born into one of Canada’s top reining families, Shawna Sapergia has been one of the longest standing Team Canada Reining members while Dee Butterfield has been a barrel racing and horsemanship clinician for more than 30 years. She was named one of the top 15 Barrel Racers in the world and has qualified for the Canadian Finals Rodeo 11 times. These well-accomplished Alberta-based clinicians will be conducting three presentations on November 9.
Other presenters include Ian Zoerb, Alberta Farrier from Brooks, Alberta and Dr. Daniel Kamen, Equine Chiropractic and author of The Well Adjusted Horse. For a full schedule and list of clinics and seminars, or for more information on Farmfair, please visit Farmfair.ca.
