Heritage Ranch Rodeo Results

The following are the final results from the Heritage Ranch Rodeo, running from November 7th to 9th, as part of Farmfair.  The top Heritage ranches in Canada were invited to compete.

The Mesabi Ranch in Nanton, Alberta came out in first in the Ranch Rodeo Competition with a total of 46.5 points.  Each ranch competed in Sorting, Branding, Wild Cow Milking,  Team Doctoring, Wild Horse Race and Bronc Riding events to determine the winner.  The Rocking Ranch, also in Nanton, Alberta, came in second with 43.5 points, with both ranches earning a score of 76 in the Bronc ride.

The R Bar Ranch in Bluffton, Alberta came in close with a score of 43 points. The ranch excelled in the Sorting and Wild Cow Milking events.
