    Raymond Comets ROCK! This is the quintessential Western town! Rodeo, parades, family reunions, talent and culture, sports and athletics; championship motorcycle racing; giant-beating football, soccer, rugby and basketball; food, and fun, and fireworks! Raymond simply has it!!!

    Raymond, Alberta. We live 3,000 km away but you’d have to beat us off with a very big stick to keep us away from the Raymond Parade and Stampede in July, and Raymond Comets basketball in December. What a perfect example of how well it can be done! Everyone is involved! That’s the magic!

    A Western Town doesn’t get any smaller than Teepee Creek but we pack a big Western Town punch for such a small place! Population of 20 for most of the year but for 4 days in July, its a small city – we had over 15,000 people through the gates this year! 98 years strong and looking forward to our 100th year celebration! http://www.tpstampede.ca

  41. Ponok – home of the Ponoka Stampede is definitely the best western town drawing a crowd of over 70, 000 people to town. This event is run with the help of a lot of volunteers, before, during and cleanup after. The townspeople really pull together to make things happen.

  43. PONOKA!!! Our town may be small, but when it comes to our cowboys, we’ve got great big hearts!!!

  44. The Ponoka Stampede and Exhibition Association attracts attention across North America and is home the Canada’s largest outdoor 7-day professional rodeo. Also home to the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame housed in the Calnash Ag Event Centre. It just doesn’t get any better than this !!!
