Kentucky Bound

I am very happy to report that on this upcoming Monday, two very special people will be heading for Kentucky to contend as one half of Team Alberta in the 2010 North American Junior and Young Rider Championships (NAJYRC).

Chloe Beveridge of Calgary, AB, and Nancy Pratch of St. Paul, AB, are both former students of Clay\’s and we are incredibly proud of their accomplishments in making this dynamic team.

The girls will be riding alongside Kaylnn Malmberg of Carseland, AB, and Sage Sapergia of Cochrane, AB (the two members making up the other half of the Alberta team). Four provincial Canadian Reining teams were selected based on results achieved during a specified qualification period.

The 2010 Adequan FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships will be held July 28–August 1, 2010 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, also the site of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.

Nancy qualified to make Team Alberta last year and said the experience was absolutely amazing. With her efforts, Nancy helped Team Alberta capture a bronze medal.

Tentatively, the Team Final should run on July 29 with Individual Finals on July 31.

Both Nancy & Chloe have promised to keep My Stable Life informed with the entire team\’s adventures on the road, in the air, and at the event. I look forward to posting their happenings and we wish everyone on Teams Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, and combined team Quebec / British Columbia good luck!
