This Christmas will be the most special because it will be my daughter’s first Christmas. Then 3 days later we will celebrate her 1st birthday. Can’t wait for you to share in these kind of memories Jenn! xoxo

  2. Connections – with family and friends. We often forget to share how important they really are! Christmastime gives us a perfect excuse to exercise some ‘love’ and demonstrate these affections. It ain’t just the gettin’, it’s the givin’ where hearts really shine! Let yours out for folks to see the kindness inside. The exercise will do ya good!

  3. This will be our first Christmas in our new home on our acreage. It was cow pasture when we bought it last Oct and we moved into our new home in February. We are very excited, we also were able to bring our horses to their new home this fall. We hope to go for a ride on Christmas Eve! It will be very special!
Thanks for your great blog, I have enjoy reading it and you take fantastic pictures.

  4. Hi Jenn,

I’m wondering if you or anyone else out there can tell me where I can find the triple-feature DVD. My 17 year old daughter was just commenting a couple of nights ago of how “Man from Snowy River” is one of her favourite movies so I thought it would make a great Xmas present. I live in Calgary so if anyone knows of a place in town that sells this movie it would be greatly appreciated.

    Merry Xmas to all!!

    Hi Shelly,

I found the triple feature DVD (The Black Stallion; The Black Stallion Returns; and The Man From Snowy River) at Walmart. It was the only place that carried it – which I know because I had to search a couple of places before I finally found this DVD. I found The Man From Snowy River alone on its own DVD difficult to find as well (because I was trying to find it for a friend’s gift earlier this year), but I was finally able to get it at a Barnes & Noble location in the US. Perhaps you could order it from them online? I hope this helps somewhat!

  6. Thanks so much for your help Jenn. I will give that a try. Oh and thanks so much for “My Stable Life” blog. It really is interesting to read. I’ve already recommended it to a few of my friends and family.

    Merry Xmas

    Hi Jenn.
As you know, we now have a new granddaughter in our family. Being with Daniel, Kelly, Haylee and Hannah, as well as Katie and Kevin, will be very special. As much as we try hard to not spoil the girls, it’s going to happen big time this year! Just too many darn cute things out there!
Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas! All the best to you in the new year!
    Sincerely,
    Dawn Freeth
