Reining AB Spring Classic Candids

Hi Folks,

Sorry I\’ve been away from My Stable Life for a few days. Being on the road – and at the mercy of internet connections along the way – in addition to showing horses, has put a slight restriction on my time.

\"\"

This past week, Clay and I were in Red Deer, Alberta, taking in the 2010 Reining Alberta Spring Classic.

\"\"

The show started out pretty wet and rainy, but morphed into wonderful hot temperatures near the end.

These shots are just a couple of candid pictures I took along the way. I\’ll be back with some more (as I can\’t fit them all into today\’s post), as well as show results.

\"\"

It was a great show, with a lot of smiling faces.

\"\"\"\"

While I don\’t have full results for you at this time, I can tell you that Amanda Antifaev posted a 150 in the Open 5 & 6-Year-Old Derby today…

\"\"

And take a look at who I caught on a reiner!

\"\"

The fantastic Western Horse Review show numbers…

\"\"

\"\"

\"\"

There were lots of great things to take in at the NAJYRC Silent Auction…

\"\"

And fabulous horses to watch, everywhere you turned… literally.

\"\"

\"\"

I\’ll be back soon with more highlights and snapshots. But in the meantime, send me your comments and let me know what your favorite part about the Spring Classic was. Whether you were showing for your first time, or attending as owner and watching your pride-and-joy go, I look forward to hearing from you all!
