Moore & Company Adds New Vet Clinic

The same Moore & Company Veterinary Clinic that we all know and love, located in Balzac, AB, has recently opened up a new Reproduction & Outpatient clinic located near Okotoks, AB. Of course, the original clinic will still remain in Balzac, offering all the same great services that it has in the past. But the new south location will make it easier for clients south of Calgary to have faster access to Moore\’s veterinary care.

\”The main purpose or vision of our new South Outpatient Clinic and Reproduction Centre is simple, we want to better serve our patients and clientele,\” says frontman Dr. Chris Berezowski DVM, DACT, DABVP (Equine), who will make the new south location his home base.

\”At this location we will be offering a wide range of services, from a simple vaccination to a complex lameness diagnosis and everything in between. We will also be equipped to handle the initial examinations of serious medical or surgical cases. However, if any case needs to be hospitalized or have surgery, then it will be transferred to our main hospital facility,\” he says.

The Reproduction & Outpatient clinic will offer artificial insemination, embryo collection and transfer, recipient mares, stallion collection, semen cryopreservation, management of high risk pregnancies, foaling services, lameness exams, dentistry, digital x-rays and ultrasound, among other services. As previously mentioned, it will serve as a home base for Berezowski but one or two other vets will also be available at the south location initially. And the rest of the Moore Equine team will always be available for appointments.

The Reproduction Centre has been up and running for the last couple of months and Berezowski plans on opening the doors of the new Outpatient Clinic by the end of June. July 27th will be the official open house that Moore & Co. will hold in conjunction with a hunter/jumper show that will be held at the Calgary Polo Club on the same day.
