New Horizons

\"\"

However many umpteen loads on the highway later and the Big Move is over! Clay and I are finally somewhat settled into our new home in Alberta and we are staying busy as we try to get unpacked and organized.

\"\"

My next post will be an update on all the craziness that transpired during the actual move, with pictures to highlight the big event and the people who helped us. But today, I just thought it would be a bit \”twee\” to show you how some of the horses reacted to their new fence lines.

\"\"

I always get a kick out of the ponies when they\’re on new turf.

\"\"

They use that to their advantage to play and act like horses.

\"\"

Or pretend they are Arabians…

\"\"

And meanwhile, I can stand back with my camera and take in all their antics. And our long awaited, return of a mountain view…

\"\"

Then, the horses realize there are more pasture mates are nearby. They approach to introduce themselves:

\"\"

And despite the fact that they were side by side back at their previous home in Regina – it\’s as though they\’ve never met before…

\"\"

Not that I mind. As long as nobody gets hurt, it makes for some good watchin\’ for me. <grin>

\"\"

Happy Friday!
