A stallion service to Black As Magic (owned by Denis Desmet) was sold for $1,000 to \”Friends of Vern\”, and then donated back. It was auctioned again and bought for $350 by Eddie Kohlman. A Calgary Stampede poster donated by Scott Watson was purchased by Saskatoon Livestock Sales for $1,000. That, plus all of the generous donations at the office resulted in a $2,425 donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
