WPCA Qualification Run Off

Day 2 of the annual WPCA Qualification Run-Off kicked ran on Friday night in Bashaw, Alberta. 8 wagons are competing for 6 spots on the 2011 WPCA Dodge Pro Tour. Chance Bensmiller, driving the Cascade Services Partnership outfit had the best time of the night with a 1:05.65.
Coming off barrel number 1 in heat 3, Bensmiller posted the fast time of the night by 1.03 seconds over Cody Ridsdale who placed 2nd for the night, followed by Mitch Sutherland with John Walters and Chanse Vigen splitting fourth and fifth on the night.
The run put Bensmiller atop the run-off standings with 15 points, followed by Cody Ridsdale and Dave Galloway who are tied for second, with Chanse Vigen, John Walters and Mitch Sutherland making out the top six after two nights. The top six in the point standings after Sunday will automatically qualify for the 2011 WPCA Dodge Pro Tour.
Racing will continue on Saturday at 6:00pm, with the final day on Sunday being run at 2:00pm.
