ARCHA Next Generation

It wasn\’t an overly warm weekend but the first Alberta  Reined Cow Horse Association (ARCHA) show of the year was a big hit with the young \’uns! And as such, I had to get my camera out…

I\’m kind of obnoxious that way. But when I see all these cute adorable little cowgirls and cowboys, I just can\’t help myself!

It\’s pretty amazing to see how many little ones are following in the footsteps of their parents and will soon be taking over the reins of the western lifestyle and tradition. Or maybe, they already have:

It made me chuckle, to see all the parents getting horses, saddles, kids, and everything in between ready to show in the 10 & Under Class.

With a newborn baby, this mom in particular is incredibly busy…

I can only imagine what\’s going on, on the other side of my lens…

Ha. Ha, hahahahaha…!

Good times. Here\’s my brood on the sidelines. I learned that Baby B isn\’t very fond of me hooting and hollering for their father.

And I also learned that at horse shows, we take up a lot of space. <love>
