Whisky Cake Contest Winners

The contest for Alberta Whisky Cakes next Unbridled Spirit artist has come to a close and it\’s time to announce the winners.

First, the artist.

While it was a hotly contested race, Heather Gessell and her expressive Between Classes received the most votes from viewers. Congratulations, Heather!

We also offered up two cakes for the giveaway: one went to a draw from amongst the artist nominators, and the second was pulled from all of the Facebook likes, comments and shares, as well as comments on the actual post.

In the first category the winner of an Alberta Whisky Cake is Daniel Collins, who nominated his wife, Denise. I\’ve been following Denise\’s pencil works for sometime and love her work – well deserved nomination. Enjoy the whisky cake, Denise & Daniel.

The second winner was voter Marianne Abraham.
