All of us on the Saskatchewan Paint Horse Association board would like to thank all of you who supported our decision to cancel our spring show due to it. It was a very difficult decision for us to make and we sure appreciated the support we received. It seems the horse community has had a rough go of it this season but rest assured thing are looking up!
Our fearless Youth leader, Tammie Cooper is going full steam ahead with the formation of our new Youth Club. Our first youth meeting will be held at the Saskatoon Fall Show. As you all know, every club needs a logo and we do not have one, so we are asking all the youth to design a club logo, bring it to Saskatoon show, there it will be judged and at the end of the show we will announce the winner and that design will become the logo for our Youth Club. Please feel free to submit as many designs as you want, the more the better!
Karen Kotylak of Northern Sensation Paints and Quarter Horses is very excited about her new additions and thought you might be as well, she asked me to share the following: “My great mare Serving Sister foaled a stunning sorrel filly by The Big Sensation. Our Zippos Sensation daughter had a gorgeous colt out of Artful Investment, a beautiful filly out of Honeys Country Girl by Hot Principles, A gorgeous buckskin filly by Double Up Investment out of Texas, who will be double registered and a dainty little bay filly out of my Hot Pretense mare and Sacred Bear. We have one to go by Artful investment and that completes our year.”
Well that’s all for now. Look forward to seeing you on the road this summer. Enjoy the sun shine (while it lasts).
