I have always wanted to go to Spruce Meadows, as I’ve never been. Then I heard Cavalia was coming into Edmonton and I was pumped! My husband and I moved a house over this summer, so were unable to make any of the Spruce Meadows shows. When I looked into Cavalia tickets, being five months pregnant, and having so many house reno expenses, we just can’t afford those dang Cavalia tickets! I’m hoping to find some cheap ones on Kijiji.

  7. I would love to take my husband to see “Cavalia”!! This show is amazing and will bring you into another world that is so exciting to watch. You will be mesmerized!!! It is wonderful.

  8. Michele Borodawk

It is a weekend of great barrel racing in a world class facility. You also have an opportunity to purchase some of the best bred barrel horse prospects in the country at the “CBHI” Breeders Sale on Oct. 6th. And best of all – it is a chance for some great visiting and fun!!

  27. I am looking forward to a poker rally the end of September. This summer has been great riding my girl. Last summer the day of our 3 day annual trail ride my girl had an accident in the trailer. My first thought was I was going to have to shoot her because her leg looked so bad. Thankfully the vets at the University of Saskatchewan Vet College helped me out. Freebie was there for 3 days and then she came home to heal. I doctored her every day for 6 weeks and she healed beautifully. I am just lucky to have her and she is sound like before the accident. I thank God every day I was able to help her heal and that we have such a wonderful group fo Vets in Saskatoon at the college.

    ever seeing.

  49. Wow – Didn’t read one of these in the comments!!! I was looking forward to 4H this fall. It was going to be my daughters last year, and the last year for our youngest 2 kids to ride together. With being in Grade 12 this year and having soooo many other interests with school sports, golf, volleyball, basketball, soccer, track & field and hospital volunteering, the mature young woman she has become has decided something has to go. And it is going to be horse 4H. 🙁 It is still bringing tears to my eyes as I type this. . . Going to Cavalia together would be a great finale to a 6 year run of 4H!!! It would be like our 4H going away party to each other.

  51. Linda McLaughlin

Cavalia would be the biggest treat ever! I missed it in Calgary as my aging mother was sick and I had to be in Ontario. When I went to Ontario this Spring it was on but I had to be in London. I just can’t win! Would love to get to Edmonton to see this show as I hear it is even better than the Calgary show was. Looking so forward to seeing it!

  52. Anita Doonan

I am really hoping to get to the Canadian Supreme to see the cow horse and reining work this year.

  53. I’m definitely looking forward to Cavalia! My mom and I would like to go, it would be a great bonding experience for us. We have horses of our own (paints and quarter horses) so seeing Cavalia would be fantastic! 🙂 🙂

  55. I would LOVE to see Cavalia again. I saw it tice in Calgary. The second time, I concentrated on the trainers and hope to be able to apply some of their techniques on my own horses. It is a brilliant work of art and excellent learning resource.
    Please “pick me!”

  56. margaret prekaski

Spruce Meadows Masters….always look forward to this event and even if i can not attend I know I can watch it on good old CBC!

  57. Hello Ingrid
What a great contest! Would love to see Cavalia in Edmonton. The event that I am the most looking forward to this fall is our annual windup Extreme Horsemanship Canada Competition here at our Ranch in Fort St John BC. Why I am so excited about this is because every year it is a real gathering of a lot of our good friends, family, new faces we get to meet and everyone camps out here. we have a fire and big potluck supper and chili making contest on the Saturday night. This year we have a terrific line up of competitors, the ranch is looking great with a fresh coat of red paint on most everything, brand new bleachers and Glenn built a huge roofed dance floor extension on the firepit/gathering area, I found a good concession for lunches, our daughters have been practicing 🙂 and this year I will get to do the demo run with my own favorite saddlehorse Tango (he was lame last year and even though Glenn lent me one if his horses its just not the same as your own. There are great friends of ours coming from Alberta, Saskatchewan and all over BC for it, and I can’t wait to see them and all the innovative ways they’ve improved their horsemanship since the last time I saw them. Plus, my dad has been sick and I’m hoping to get him out here to watch as much as he can, and I just can’t wait to have all that fun in the sun with horses friends and family!
    Thanks
    Dixie

  58. Can’t wait to sort at the Fall Classic at Northlands in Edmonton in the beginning of November !!

  59. Bonnie Rideout

Missed them last time they were here but would love to go and see the show in Edmonton…

  60. Denise Little

Most of the equine events and activities that I have been looking forward to have already been this year!! I am looking forward to doing alot of trail riding with friends this fall, though. Have a few young horses that I am working on training and need to get them out on the trails for the next step in their education. Should be fun. Don’t know that I will make it to see Cavalia but I am looking forward to that as well and any pictures of it that come up!! One of these days I will see it! A great show!

  61. Darlene Kenyon

I would love to win tickets for my son and especially for my future daughter-in-law.

  66. Amanda Kostyk

  67. Elizabeth Ingram

I would LOVE to take my kids to Cavalia. They would be completely mystified! 🙂

  68. Marion McFall

Well, the horse highlight for my fall COULD be Cavalia! (wink, wink, nudge, nudge 🙂
I haven’t ridden my Appaloosa mare, Taxi, as much this summer as I wanted because she had a terrible bout of scratches on her feet. And then she got a big gash under her tail. I spent more time treating wounds than riding! I’m looking forward to getting out under our big blue Alberta skies riding Taxi without mosquitos and enjoy the soon-to-be turning leaves.
    “I am manifesting 2 free Cavalia tickets….”

  69. Some of the gals from work & I are going to see the CFR this year. Looking forward to seeing the horses and the cowboys. I’m also hoping to take in Cavalia. This seems to be a magical show with the horses in their purest element.

  70. Christine D

I am lookinf forward to Saskatchewan Stakes & Futurity 36th Annual Horse Show in Moose Jaw. I will be entering the SRHA Green Rider Class. I am almost a senior citizen and this is the first time I have done anything like this. It is way out of my comfort zone. I am in awe of what is capable between horse and human and know seeing Cavalia would be a highlight of my year.

  71. Hello – My husband is an avid horselover and so is my grandson who is three. He saw the commercials on Television and what can I say – went nuts to go see the horses Grandpa.

  72. Stephanie V

    Cavalia looks absolutely mesmorizing.
It seems like a mixture of beauty, magic and amazing skill: An awe-inspiring collaboration of horses and humans.
I can’t quite believe it’s possible until I see it!

  73. Would be great if we could afford to go to Calvalia would be great to win the tickets. We look forward to our lessons with able bodied and special ability riders this fall. Also working with our gaited horses.

  74. Would love to see Cavalia, missed it before. The other thing I am looking forward to is taking the horses out on the sand trails, when the leaves are changing it’s beautiful and an excellent day out for all of us.

  75. Our family loves all horse rlatated activities. We have never been to see a great show like this and would love to have the opportunity.

  76. Would love to go! Will be enjoying gymkhana and further advancing dressage this fall 🙂 hopefully in-hand!

  77. Would love to see Cavalia and take my daughter. I have been off on disability for so long and this would be a fantastic break.

  78. Kathlyn Peltzer

We would love to take our two daughters to Cavalia! We will be busy with our 4H horse club, pony club and riding out and gathering cows this fall.

  79. I have been buy this summer with a rodeo drill team that a friend and I started up last fall. It has been an amazing and busy summer, but the season has taken it’s toll on me and my horse! 80. Karla Kvicala

    Hi,
When is comes to horsey events I’m not to picky anything that involves barrel racing!! Lol.
I wish everyone luck in this contest/draw.
    :):):)
    Karla.

  81. This may be what I would most be waiting to see! But for me now it would be the Supreme in Red Deer at the end of the month!

  82. I would love to win tickets. I am looking forward to working with our two year old fillys and geldings this fall. It is a beautiful time of year to be outside!

  83. I would love to go see where acrobatics and dance meet horsemanship. Many who attend the show will never own a horse but will witness this fantastic show of the ultimate test of the trust that exists between horse and rider. What a wonderful way to draw new interests into the horsemanship world.

  84. I would love to win tickets and have the opportunity to see Cavalia. I am looking forward to working with our two year old fillys and geldings this fall.

  85. Would love to present our horse crazy neighbours with tickets to Cavalia to show our appreciation to them for looking after our place and being great neighbours!

  86. Mercedes Will

This fall will be a time of winding down at The Bar G Ranch. As the autumn colors cover our horses pasture, the cool air reminds us it is time to prepare for winter. My husband and I will fill the loft with fresh bales of hay for our horses to eat this winter. We will go on our scenic trail rides and enjoy running our horses across fields that have now been harvested. Fall is a great time to really let our horses run and that is what they love to do. The fields are flat and perfect for some real safe galloping stretches. Perfect for a great workout for you and your horse. I hope all my fellow riders enjoy this fall as much as we will!
